That’s a good question, and thanks for asking! Fuck Yeah Quebec grew out of Rutherford Mansfield which is exclusively about research done at our universities and hospitals. I just had to write about more!
A few things really inspired me to start blogging about why Quebec is such an awesome place to be: firstly, I was/am jealous my great friend and style guru Jason Stockl’s blog Expolounge - it was one of my first introductions to Montreal culture before I moved here from Paris three years ago. On that point, I actually consider Montreal to be “North America’s best kept secret”… and I decided that I would like to help the world discover this incredible corner of the continent. Finally, I noticed many of the other blogs in Montreal tend to be either kinda negative or really focussed on hyper local news. I wanted to offer something that reaches out to people with a transnational perspective like mine, and more than anything, I want to celebrate how happy I am in my new home!
